Over 13 historic homes and sites will be all dressed up for Christmas and open to those holding tickets. Tickets are $25 per person and may be purchased at Dooley’s Florist and Gifts and The Marketplace both located on St. Francois Street. Tickets may also be purchased over the phone by calling 314-565-1468. An extra $1 charge per ticket will be applied. Come kick off the holiday season by enjoying light refreshments and visiting these beautifully decorated homes.
Join the Campbell House Museum, Chatillon-DeMenil House, and Field House Museum for a delightful holiday tour that takes you back to yesteryear! Along with light holiday refreshments at each of the locations, guests will be able to explore these historic sites in a one-night-only peek into the past.
Tickets are $30/each in advance, $40 on the day of the event; advance reservations recommended, limited quantities available at the door.
This holiday season step back in time during The Historic Daniel Boone Home’s annual Christmas Candlelight Walks. The historic village comes alive as guests experience different holiday traditions reminiscent of life in the early 1800s. Listen to holiday tales as you meander through the park, illuminated with thousands of candles, and enjoy traditional carols as you sip on warm apple cider. Find unique gifts at our Christkindlmarkt. Though there will be warming stations, remember to dress for the weather. Walking will be on dark candlelit gravel and grass paths, so good walking shoes are encouraged. Guests will walk at their own pace after they enter the event but expect short waits outside various vignette. Each station will repeat every 8-10 minutes. No flash photography or video recording allowed. Tickets are limited and registration is recommended. Guests ages 5 & up must have a ticket (children ages 4 & under are free).
Prepare yourself for the ultimate throwback. Augusta is setting the scene for a classic Norman Rockwell Christmas, as the Candlelight Christmas Walk will light up the town. Over 1000 luminaries greet visitors as Santa Claus awaits at the Town Hall and horse-drawn carriages trot around the town. Visit the Christmas Market located in the Elementary School gym. Visit the Wine, Beer, and Spirits tastings, gifts baskets, and more. Warm yourselves by the bonfire or shop the night away on the first two Fridays in December!

This year’s tour spans two days (Saturday, December 6, 2025 and Sunday, December 7, 2025) to celebrate the 50th Anniversary!
The tour kicks off with a champagne toast and invites you to explore residences, each brimming with architectural charm and adorned in holiday decor, transporting you to the 19th-century elegance of this storied neighborhood. To ensure a warm, comfortable journey between homes, heated shuttles are provided. Join us for this charming three-hour tour and leave with a special Soulard souvenir! Tours start every half hour.
We are partnering with Historic Saint Louis for their annual event, ‘A Spirited Holiday Past’! Oakland fits several of their historic categories, including Victorian, Country, and French Heritage.

The Hixson Middle School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), part of the Webster Groves School District, is delighted to announce the 32nd Annual Webster Groves Holiday House Tour. The event will take place on Sunday, December 7, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., showcasing nine beautiful and architecturally distinct homes in Webster Groves. Each home will feature festive holiday décor and filled with live music performed by Hixson Middle School student ensembles.
Programs for online ticket purchasers can be picked up at the Hawken House (1155 S Rock Hill Road) on Saturday, December 6, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. or on Sunday, December 7, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Hixson Middle School (630 S. Elm Avenue). The printed program includes home addresses, photos, details about each stop, and event information and serves as your “ticket” to the event.
