Who says Halloween is just one day in October? Halloween has become a month-long celebration! In addition to trick-or-treating in their own neighborhoods, many families take part in a variety of trick-or-treat AND trunk or treat events around STL. There’s fun for all this spooky season! We are thrilled to share this guide to help you find an event near you!

Pirates + Pumpkins at St. Louis Aquarium

201 South 18th Street, St. Louis, MO 

Friday, September 13 – October 31, 2024

Learn how to “talk like a pirate”, receive your pirate name, and complete challenges to become a member of the pirate crew. 

The aquarium adventure is decked out with pirate-themed scenes, including a ghost ship with smoking and booming cannons. Guests take a self-guided tour through a highly themed wonderland of treasure caves and grottos. During your journey, discover the Instagram-worthy photo opportunities throughout the transformed Aquarium.

Patches of realistically carved and lighted pumpkins representing the Aquarium’s sea life greet guests as they explore the attraction. Along the way, discover amazing animal facts and pun-filled pirate jokes.

Only the bravest adventurers can sit on the Pirate King’s Throne for a triumphant picture.

All this is included in the standard Aquarium entrance fee or Annual Pass during regular hours!

Families can Trick or Treat on Fridays & Saturdays from 5:00pm – 8:00pm (Bags provided).

Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 10 am – 1 pm

Come climb up in the driver’s seat and explore our big maintenance trucks, emergency vehicles, machines, and more. This event is for the whole family and allows children time to explore and learn about rarely accessible vehicles and their daily functions. Everyone is welcome to come in costume, participate in our activities and pick up spooky treats.

 

 

Trunk or Treat + Fall Festival at Bogey Hills Baptist Church

Friday, October 11 from 6 – 8 pm

Come join for our fourth annual Fall Festival on Friday, October 11th from 6-8 pm! This family event will feature carnival games, snacks, family activities, and candy of course, while supplies last. School-appropriate costumes are welcome. Best of all, it’s free!

You don’t have to register for this event, but you will need to stop at our welcome booth first so you can get your family’s (free) tickets for food.

Join us for SPOOKTACULAR fun at the SCCPD’s annual Trunk-or-Treat from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 12. This event is free and open to children ages 12 and under and their parents/guardians. MONSTER MASH TRUNK-OR-TREAT Join us at the Station 1 Firehouse on Luetkenhaus Boulevard for Wentzville Parks & Recreation’s annual Monster Mash Trunk-or-Treat, co-sponsored by the Wentzville Firefighters Community Outreach. MONSTER MASH TRUNK-OR-TREAT Join us at the Station 1 Firehouse on Luetkenhaus Boulevard for Wentzville Parks & Recreation’s annual Monster Mash Trunk-or-Treat, co-sponsored by the Wentzville Firefighters Community Outreach. Families will enjoy games, face painting, the Bubble Bus, Play-Time Party Center inflatables, exciting vendors, and a “trunk-or-treat” during this three-hour event. Preregistration is required for all attendees. Tickets will not be available at the door. Each ticket includes a hot dog, bag of chips, drink, and pumpkin for ages 12 and under while supplies last.
