Braeutigam Orchards (This FREE family-owned and operated orchard features apple-picking, farm animals to feed/pet, bakery, tractor rides, and pumpkin patch)
Cahokia Mounds (historic site in Collinsville; NOTE: indoor exhibits currently closed for renovation)
Eckert’s Farms (Pick-your-own apples and pumpkins at each of its four locations, as well as kids activities, bakery, and country store)
Pere Marquette State Park (& Lodge) (located near Grafton, IL this state park features hiking/biking trails, horseback riding, and either camp or stay in the lodge)
Raging Rivers Waterpark (outdoor water park operating May – August in Grafton, IL)
Scott Air Force Base (you can’t miss the Air Show in May featuring the Blue Angels!)
The Edge Family Entertainment Center (indoor entertainment venue featuring arcade, bumper cars, go karts, and laser tag)
The Loading Dock (located on the banks of the Mississippi River, grab a drink/bite to eat, enjoy live music, or ice skate in the winter!)
World Wide Technology Raceway (Racing fans should definitely catch the Nascar Cup Series race in June!)
