Pre-Halloween Fun and $6 Tickets for the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra’s Family Concert!

This content is sponsored by the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra.

Attention St. Louis Moms! Ever wanted to share an experience with your kiddo at the prestigious and world-renowed St. Louis Symphony at Powell Hall? Now is your chance! Their family concerts are the perfect opportunity to experience the beauty and excitement of classical music in a kid-friendly environment! Targeted towards children ages 5-12, family concerts typically last 45 minutes and are designed specifically to engage your child in a meaningful way.

Come celebrate Halloween early with the SLSO on Sunday, October 14 at 3pm with Lemony Snicket’s murder mystery whodunit: The Composer is Dead! Conducted by Lee Mills and narrated by Omega Jones.

Where is the culprit lurking? In the strings? The low brass? The woodwinds? Young music-loving sleuths can unravel the mystery in a concert of wit, wonder and whimsy. Experience how all the instruments of the orchestra combine to bring the story to life!

Be sure to:

  1. Arrive early to TRICK-OR-TREAT through the Instrument Playground where kids try out different orchestral instruments. (How cool is that?!)
  2. Come dress for a COSTUME CONTEST!  Snap a photo in your Halloween best at Powell Hall, tag us @stlsymphony on Instagram and use #slsoween to be entered to win two tickets to Mercy Holiday Celebration.
