Things to Consider Before Signing Up for Archery

  • How do you know if your child is old enough for archery? Your child should be old enough to understand safety rules and why they are important. According to USA Archery, archery has one of the lowest injury rates of all sports, but safety is a key factor.
  • Archery is a great sport for everyone regardless of age, gender, or ability
  • Gear/equipment involved: 
    • A bow fit to the size of your child
    • Arrows
    • A quiver to carry arrows
    • Arm guard to protect from the bowstring
    • Glove
    • Target
