Max1 Performance & Fitness is a St. Louis–based sports performance training program dedicated to helping youth, middle school, and high school athletes move faster, get stronger, and build confidence in their sport. Our training focuses on speed development, agility, strength, coordination, and injury prevention — giving athletes the physical foundation they need to perform at their best while staying healthy throughout long seasons.

Every session is coach-led and age-appropriate, emphasizing proper running mechanics, athletic movement skills, and long-term development rather than burnout or overtraining. We work with athletes from all sports including soccer, baseball, field hockey, football, basketball, tennis, and more.

  • There are many factors to strength training. It helps build strength to help athletes tap into explosive movements. It also can help with injury prevention. It improves cardiovascular fitness, endurance, and stamina.
  • Both weights and body weight is involved in training.
  • Training is typically customized for each student.
  • Helps your child break through plateaus in performance.
  • Talk to instructors to see how many times a week your child should be working out and how much weight they should be using. During their growth years, kids need to be careful not to overdo it.

  • Next Level Athletes is the foundational speed, agility, and explosion program. Here, you will learn how to apply the science and physiology behind speed, force, and pure athleticism. This program is held in a class-like setting and lasts for 1 hour. The class is offered up to 4 times per week and our class sessions are for either 4 or 8 weeks. This program structure was where Next Level originated and is great for someone beginning training for the first time. (Ages 12+)
