We’re back for the 5th Annual Hanging with Heroes — a back-to-school bash that’s full of fun, magic, and unforgettable memories for the whole family!

Chicken N Pickle – St. Charles is a one-of-a-kind indoor/outdoor venue that brings together delicious food, family-friendly fun, and meaningful community connection. With pickleball courts, yard games, vibrant gathering spaces, and great eats, it’s the perfect place to come together.

For our event, here’s what to expect:

• The Be Amazing Room will be our indoor space to relax, dine, and connect with other families.

• The Bier Gardens will be buzzing with our sponsors, fun activities, and helpful resources for families. Local vendors and community partners will be set up here for browsing, shopping, and exploring.

• The Be Amazing Courts will host casual family pickleball play in 10-minute increments—no registration required! This area will also feature some of our favorite local St. Louis businesses and family-focused resources.

• The Grassy Area will feature dancing, yoga, bocce ball, and more interactive experiences for all ages.

We’re incredibly grateful to Chicken N Pickle for partnering with us to host this amazing day filled with fun, connection, and community for local families!

There is free parking available for all our guests, conveniently located and clearly marked on the event map. We want to make your experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible, so just follow the signs when you arrive and find a spot close to all the action. We can’t wait to welcome you!

Monarch Pediatrics is part of the Washington University Clinical Associates (WUCA), offering top-tier pediatric care backed by Washington University specialists. Their kid-friendly office provides same-day appointments for both well and sick visits, plus weekday walk-in clinics for current patients.

They offer seasonal flu and COVID vaccines for children 6 months and older, as well as RSV antibodies for babies under 8 months. Monarch Pediatrics is currently accepting new patients and encourages parents and caregivers to schedule a meet-and-greet with their physicians.

Barron Swim School

Barron Sports is a family owned and locally founded business that offers premium youth sports programs in St. Louis that includes gymnastics, swim, dance, and ninja programs for children from infancy through their teen years. Let The Kids Play: Music and Me is an original play-based music class created by educators and parents of three, Laren and Aimee Loveless. Designed for little ones aged 6 months to 6 years, these classes invite children and their grownup to sing, dance, and play together while building memories that will last a lifetime! Outdoor classes are located in Francis Park with a flexible indoor location at Hope UCC (across from the park), so we never have to cancel due to rain!

At Playful Poses Yoga, we move our bodies through story based yoga adventures. We use animal and nature poses to transform movement into play! Yoga can help children understand mindfulness through breathing and intentional movements. Family yoga is also a fun way to bond with your child through silly movements and playful songs and games!

When you’re looking for party ideas, you’ll find them with Top Hat Entertainment! We’re your go-to for fun, interactive, and educational party entertainment! Kids and adults will be amazed with our entertainment options curated by Brian Peck, an educator with more than 25 years of experience. With reptile acts, magic shows, balloon twisting, science demonstrations, face painting and more, Top Hat Entertainment thinks outside the hat to bring you more than magic. You’ll have fun and will learn a thing or two as well!
