This charming book store is a favorite of everyone who knows about it! Afterwords Books is a local bookstore that offers new and used books and a great selection of toys and unique gifts.  They offer private shopping hours with complimentary wrapping, or you can stop by during their normal business hours!

This store in downtown Belleville is a great place to stop for arts & crafts, gifts, and toys! They carry awesome brands of toys and keep an updated catalog available on their website. You can also browse for ideas by age or brand on their website!

Circle of Knowledge Toys

Circle of Knowledge started on a cart in the mall and eventually grew into a brick-and-mortar store. They love toys and enjoy reading and wanted to share that love with children. Their expert staff will help you find the best STEAM, STEM, or STREAM toy for your every need. They offer a wide selection of toys and playthings. City Sprouts

This darling boutique is nestled in Ladue, just on the border of Clayton, and has the most adorable children’s clothes. It also boasts a wonderful selection of children’s toys. Get them a new holiday outfit and check a toy off your list, too!


Fantasy Books, Inc.

Locations vary throughout the Metro East with varying hours

There are four of these Comic and Gaming stores throughout the Metro St Louis area. They have all of the latest comic books, collectibles, games, and of course, Pokémon! They each offer gaming space and a vast knowledge of all things comics and gaming!


Frisco Train Store

The Frisco Train Store is a free indoor play area with wooden trains and accessories that will keep your train-loving, imaginative child entertained for hours! There are multiple levels in the store with elaborate train tables, vendor demos, a kitchen play area, and even a birthday party room for celebrations. Play for a while, see what your child falls in love with, then shop for the perfect gift (trains, puzzles, crafts, games, wooden playsets, engineer hats, etc.) on your way out! All aboard!!

Who doesn’t know a Lego lover? The massive Lego showroom in Kirkwood not only has thousands of minifigures, but also sells hundreds of current and retired Lego sets.  Want to buy Legos in bulk? They do bulk! This is such a fun shop to browse, your Lego lover will love it!

The Novel Neighbor is charming, unique and welcoming to all. In addition to offering books and merchandise, they facilitate in-store book clubs, host book-themed birthday parties, summer camps, cocktail classes and offer two distinctive spaces for event rental. They are known for their personalized Mystery Boxes, as well as their subscription service, and recommended reading on social media.

Owned by local mom Leah, Polished Prints creates inspiring graphics for babes, they also have a line of t-shirts for adults, toddlers and youth. All of their garments are printed by hand using eco-friendly water-based inks, thoughtfully packaged in studio and shipped with love.
