Water Lantern Festival

The balloons do not launch during the balloon glow but for a portion of the evening (weather permitting) the rope line will be released, and spectators will be invited to walk around to enjoy the view and chat with pilots and crew. Brentwood Days is the City’s annual festival held on the third weekend in September. This event brings the community together to enjoy live music and entertainment, delicious food, games, carnival rides, a parade. This year’s event will culminate with a state-of-the-art Drone Show. 

Brentwood Residents will have the opportunity to purchase armbands that allow for unlimited carnival rides. Armbands will cost $20 for one day or $35 for both days. Armbands go on sale on Monday, July 1 and can be purchased at the Community Center.  Non-residents will be able to purchase ride tickets at the event.

Currently sold out through September. Tickets for October will be available in early September.

Bring the family and go for a beautiful scenic ride along the Meramec river on the 12″ gauge Railroad. This fall is expected to produce some beautiful scenery as the leaves change colors and begin to fall. Trains pulled by historic live steam locomotives and diesels will take you on a 30 minute journey that travels just over 2 miles through the trees and along the bluffs in the Meramec river valley. Trains start their scheduled departures from the station at 9:45 am.,with trains departing about every 30 minutes. The final train leaves at 4:45 pm.
