The day was filled with relaxed bodies and smiling faces! From massages by LB Chiropractic to bra fittings by STL Galleria Dillard’s, local businesses showed up to pour into moms and provide them the self-care they need and deserve. We are so grateful to every mom, business, and sponsor who was a part of our first-ever Moms + Mamms event.
Our event was presented by Siteman Cancer Center, who put the mamms in Moms + Mamms. With their mobile mammography van onsite, 11 women were able to get mammogram screenings. The Siteman staff were nothing short of amazing, making the examination experience comfortable and easy.
Moms from all over St. Louis joined us, regardless of a mammogram appointment! Housed under a large pavilion, all attendees were cool and comfortable while gathering for some self-care. Thank you to Juice Plus +, St. Louis Cheese Boards, and Kaldi’s Coffee for providing refreshments to moms and Siteman Cancer Center and Susan G. Komen for giving moms great resources!
We loved seeing moms prioritizing their care, even with kids in tow. With a playground on site as well as coloring sheets, the little ones were entertained while mom treated herself! Modern Acupuncture even offered a special discount on services at their Brentwood location!
Moms + Mamms was a free event open to the public, and there was something for everyone, including a sweet swag bag filled with goodies from local businesses in the St. Louis area. The swag items were selected to promote health and wellness as we continue our motherhood journey!
We even had an awesome giveaway for moms to enter to win a $100 massage gift certificate, ice pack, and t-shirt courtesy of Golden Door!
Our mission is to be a resource for moms on their parenting journey, and that includes self-care. We hope that you left feeling relaxed and supported on the first Saturday of June.
