Fireworks Cruise at the Gateway Arch Riverboats

Thursday, July 4, 2024 from 7:30 – 9 pm (boards at 7 pm)

Grab a front-row seat to St. Louis’ most spectacular fireworks display. The annual Fireworks Cruise celebrates America’s independence with a night of food, drinks and fun that the whole family will love. Come aboard to enjoy the sounds of a Dixieland band and sights of downtown from the river. We’ll return to dock beneath the Gateway Arch and watch the night sky light up in celebration of the USA.

Our core events represent a journey through time and encapsulate the spirit of past, present, and future. They are headlined by four major happenings: the historic America’s Birthday Parade, dating back to 1878; the breathtaking July 4th Fireworks Display framed by The Gateway Arch, a tradition since 1981; and the lively July 4th Concerts, alternating between Forest Park and Downtown St. Louis, also established in 1981. Newest addition since 2021 Gateway Legends esports tournament.

Granite City Patriots In The Park

The “Patriots in the Park” 4th of July celebration is one of the best in the St Louis area. This weekend long event includes an auto show, carnival with food, live entertainment, rides and ends with a spectacular fireworks display. Malcolm W. Martin Memorial Park

The park is set to feature a wide array of free, family friendly activities leading up to the Fair Saint Louis fireworks the evenings of Thursday, July 4, through Saturday, July 6.

Family-friendly activities begin at 5 pm including face painting, caricature drawing, balloon art, an inflatable obstacle course, hot air balloon display, and magic shows.

Juggling and fire performances, carnival games and a circus workshop. The Shades of Blue Jazz Ensemble from Scott Air Force Base will also be performing on Thursday, July 4, from 6 to 9 p.m.  To obtain a complete schedule of events, visit www.meprd.org.
