Santa came to town on December 7 for our 7th annual Donuts with Santa event and we feel so lucky to have spent it with all of you! Smith & Company, located in the heart of Midtown, was a spacious venue for all our guests to meet Santa. The space was filled with the hustle and bustle of crafters, makers, established businesses, and entrepreneurs alike as they set up their stations and goods.
Donuts were hand-delivered by Santa’s helper, and Santa and Mrs. Claus were ready to meet all the boys and girls. Kelly Laramore Photography beautifully captured your little ones greeting Santa with a high-five, giving him handwritten letters, showing him loose teeth, introducing loveys and everything in between with a festive backdrop executed by The Kolly Collective.
We owe a big thanks to our presenting sponsor, Pediatric Dentistry of Sunset Hills, for their generosity. They are truly dedicated to putting smiles on kids’ faces!
This event was made magical with the continued support of our sponsors. Foss Swim School swam over to collect letters to Santa, Honda of Frontenac brought by not one but two Santa mobiles for families to test out, and Rohan Woods School brought magic reindeer food to take home!
And a big thank you to the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra for ensuring we had a decked out hot cocoa station and Prairie Farms Dairy, Inc. for the milk to help wash down the yummy donuts!
Within this event, both sessions were dazzled by several performances. Magic Amanda wowed the audience with her magic tricks, Enchanted Events brought special guests, Elsa and Anna who performed all the Frozen hits, and STL Rock School rocked out to all our favorite holiday songs!
Little ones (and big kids, too!) created the most darling gingerbread ornaments, courtesy of Kidz Play STL – keepsakes that every family tree needs! They decorated their very own cake pop with Amy’s Cake Pop Shop, and jumped to their hearts desire in a bounce house provided by High Rise Events. Our smallest guests even had a dedicated play space to jump, tumble, and slide thanks to Swap the Playroom!
We can’t forget these beautiful centerpieces executed by Epicurean Tablescapes that really brought our vision to life and the perfect neon light made by STL Neons so Santa could find his way to us!
Please remember to shop small and support local this holiday season and all year long. We strive to bring you the best, newest, and most loved local businesses that are passionate about their mission, their product, and supporting families all over St. Louis and beyond. Without them, our Holiday Shop would not have been so merry:
Special thanks to all the families who made a charitable donation. We raised $449 for the Salvation Army!
From all of us at St. Louis Mom, have a wonderful holiday season. Thank you for your support, see you in the new year!
