Ameren’s Thanks-for-Giving Parade
Celebrating its 40th year, the 2024 Ameren Thanks-For-Giving Parade will step off at 9:00 am on Thursday, November 28, 2024.
This year, parade goers can expect over 120 parade units, including musical floats and displays, dance groups, drumlines, and marching bands from around the St. Louis region. As always, Santa Claus will be present to wish everyone a Happy Holiday Season at the conclusion of the parade.

Thanksgiving Races and Fun Runs
42nd Annual Kirkwood Webster Turkey Run Day
The tradition lives on! The St. Louis region’s largest and oldest Thanksgiving Day run gets set for its 42nd annual edition. Choose between the 3-mile and 6-mile races. Run in-person or virtually!
Downtown Kirkwood is where it’s all happening. The 3-mile begins at 7:30 AM while the 6-mile begins at 8:10 AM
St. Louis Turkey Trot 5K and 8K
Thursday, November 28 in the Upper Muny Festival and Parking Plaza. Chip timed, fun run, and kids categories.

The 14th Annual Belleville Thanksgiving 5K Run and Kids Turkey Chase (In Person Race) will take place on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28, 2024, in Downtown Belleville Illinois at the Square. Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup at 7:00 am. with the race starting at 8 am.
All proceeds go to support Belleville High School Hockey Club.
