Meeting for photos before a dance has become a family affair … moms and dads gathering to snap pics at a nearby park or landmark. It has become almost as much of a social event for parents as it is for our kids.
Pro Tip: If your kids are wearing heels / dress shoes to prom, have them bring tennis shoes to their outdoor photo sessions. Some of the prettiest spots involve a bit of a walk.
Encourage your kids to choose two different photo locations that are relatively close to each other before a school formal. There is a good chance the first spot you choose is also the spot everyone else chose, as well. It’s nice to have another option in case of crowds or even if you just want a variety of photos at different places. Also, choose an indoor option ahead of time in case of rain to avoid last minute scrambling!
*Note: for any indoor photos, call ahead to find out their hours and ability to accommodate*
